Miss Lacy Chair by Driade

The combination of the lost wax casting technique and baroque lace inspired the Miss Lacy Chair by Driade.  Characterized by expertly pierced, shiny, mirrored stainless steel, Miss Lacy is unique, as it more closely resembles a jewel than a functional object.   Miss Lacy’s legs are tapered and then welded to the shell.   Once polished, the final result is a perfect monoblock.  Miss Lacy is one of the products with the highest level of craftsmanship in the entire Driade collection. 

The Miss Lacy Chair, designed by Philippe Starck, was launched in 2018.  Recognized as one of the world’s most influential designers, this highly prolific French designer has over 10,000 designs to his name.  From chairs to buildings, and motorcycles to clothing, Starck remains one of the world’s most creative minds.
